Unlike other spirits, vodka gets all of its taste from the grains and
the water – there are no charred oak barrels, no botanicals and
certainly no flavor additives. The challenge is to find the right
grains, in the right proportions and then use exacting and artful
distillation techniques. To be sure, it was a painstaking process.
